Started during the pandemic, Damn The Wolves - Brett Stepto and brothers Jody & Rick Martin - set out to build their own recording studio in a garage. They took the loneliness and isolation of that time and injected intimate words into songs with a rousing, anthemic ‘we’re all in this together’ mindset. They have recorded a dozen songs to date, which have been mixed in Chicago by Matt Dougherty (Megadeth, 3 Doors Down) and mastered in London by Pete Maher (The 1975, Depeche Mode, Jack White).Their eponymous debut single was released in November 2022 with an accompanying music video filmed by award-winning filmmaker Gareth Bartlett. Damn The Wolves gained much playlisting and radio play including BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang Radio.Follow up singles have followed every 6-8 weeks. A run of gigs and festivals throughout summer 2023 (Rock Oyster, Little Orchard Festival among others) have helped build a growing following. In November 2023 the band launched their own podcast as a place to share their love of music. 'Now That's What I Call DAMN Good Music' is available on all podcast platforms. For more of the band, be sure to check out their raw and humorous posts on TikTok, as well as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
